Job summary

Louisiana Department of Health is seeking a leader to manage statewide CMP grant programs, oversee quality monitoring tools, and coordinate with nursing facilities to improve care quality and compliance.

You will develop policies, monitor federal regulations, and drive long-range planning for enhanced resident outcomes. Strong IT, PM, and BA experience is essential, with a focus on collaboration across LDH and external partners.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in information technology, program management, project management or business analysis.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years in IT/PM/BA/QA.
• An associate's degree in IT plus three years in IT/PM/BA.
• A bachelor's degree plus three years in IT/PM/BA.
• A bachelor's degree with 24 sem hours in IT/CS/ENG/MATH/Analytics plus two years in IT/PM/BA.

Responsibilities

• Manages statewide CMP grant programs, including project development, implementation, monitoring, and budget oversight.
• Develops and oversees quality monitoring tools for facility determinations, PASRR screenings, and resident assessments.
• Reviews nursing facility assessments and makes recommendations to improve quality and compliance.
• Serves as statewide clinical liaison to nursing facilities, associations, and stakeholders; provides guidance.
• Develops and implements quality improvement initiatives, policies, procedures, and long-range plans.
• Monitors federal regs and best practices to ensure programs remain effective and compliant.
• Coordinates communication, reporting, and collaboration with facilities and LDH partners.
