Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an approved subject-matter or education specialty area.
• Seven years of professional experience in teaching, education administration, or related assignment, including five years in an approved specialty area and one year supervisory/administrative experience.
• Alabama Professional Educator Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide instructional program coordination and guidance for LEAs and ALSDE sections.
• Develop and revise resources to support state requirements and professional learning.
• Oversee MTSS implementation and related training, budget and contract management.
• Supervise personnel and ensure effective documentation and reporting.
• Facilitate collaboration across sections to ensure consistent information for LEAs.
