UW School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI seeks an Outreach Program Manager to lead Wisconsin’s AHEC workforce development initiatives and strengthen health education statewide. You will guide planning, implementation, evaluation, and collaboration with partners across university, regional centers, and health care networks.

This role supports statewide curricula, strategic planning, and program operations, with some in-person work and potential remote tasks.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing education and/or outreach programs.
• Experience fostering strategic partnerships with education, community, and health care organizations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate group discussions and build consensus.
• Detail‑oriented with exceptional time management skills.
• Experience effectively managing multiple overlapping programs or projects.
• Experience developing and implementing operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to use Google Suite, Zoom, and Canvas for online learning and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews recommendations for and provides input on the design and development of new outreach programs or services.
• May exercise supervisory authority over employees (2.0 FTE or equivalent).
• Monitors the unit or program budget and approves program expenditures.
• Determines outreach program needs and the personnel resource allocation plan.
• Develops and implements operating policies and procedures to promote the outreach program.
• Supervises implementation of outreach-program-focused strategic planning initiatives and objectives.
• Support the development and delivery of curriculum for statewide AHEC programs.
