Commonwealth of Kentucky, Administrative Office of the Courts, in Frankfort, is seeking a Health and Safety Administrator. The role administers statewide health, safety, and workplace compliance programs across the Court of Justice.

Responsibilities include OSHA guidance, ADA compliance, workers’ compensation, emergency management, and training, with statewide travel to ~400 court facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health, health and safety, emergency management, public administration, HR, business admin, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Administers the OSHA and safety program; monitors requirements and conducts inspections.
• Conducts safety, accessibility, and ergonomic assessments; suggests improvements.
• Inspects leased spaces for ADA/OSHA concerns and actions.
• Manages workers’ compensation program; coordinates claims and return-to-work.
• Supports ADA Title II compliance and reasonable accommodations.
• Supports Pregnant Workers Fairness Act compliance and policy administration.
• Oversees drug-testing program; coordinates with vendors.
• Supports emergency management and continuity planning; coordinates trainings.
• Develops and conducts training on workplace safety and safety topics.
• Conducts investigations and documents findings for safety matters.
• Acts as primary contact for OSHA, EPA, and inquiries.
• Performs periodic safety inspections and tracks corrective actions.
• Provides statewide technical assistance on health, safety, compliance; travels statewide.
