Job summary

The State of South Carolina is seeking a procurement professional to join the Agency Sourcing Team for Higher Ed/Law Enforcement within the Division of Procurement Services (DPS). The role focuses on developing solicitations, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with the Consolidated Procurement Code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and procurement experience.
• Experience in contract management or related PM/paralegal skills.
• CPPB or CPPO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop solicitations and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Develops and reviews solicitation documents including scope and terms.
• Evaluate responses and ensure offers are responsive and responsible.
• Negotiate terms and draft final contract documents.
• Provide ongoing contract administration and issue resolution.
• Serve as a consultant on purchasing methods and sources of supply.
