Job summary

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Family Advocate Specialist to train and support Family Peer Supporters within the Integrated Health Home model. You will provide leadership, ongoing coaching, and oversight of fidelity to the family peer support approach statewide.

This 100% full-time Academic Professional position offers a salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 with hybrid/remote options and on-site work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience coaching, training, teaching or public speaking required.
• Complete Systems of Care certification within 120 days of employment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver web-based and on-site trainings statewide for Systems of Care Family Support Training.
• Engage with Care Coordination Service Organization to implement family peer support and SOC principles.
• Develop training materials and provide feedback to guide curriculum development and statewide support strategies.
• Travel statewide as needed for training and coaching.
