Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum five years law enforcement experience.
• Ability to investigate complex and difficult cases both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current or recent POST certification.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), DELJIS, NCIC, and LEISS.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to qualify to carry a DOJ-issued firearm.
• Willingness to travel and attend various training opportunities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed executive protection to the Attorney General.
• Conduct threat assessments and investigate suspicious or concerning activity.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners.
• Perform advance security planning for official travel, events, and public appearances across the State.
