Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services; OR
• Six years of full-time work experience plus five years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services; OR
• A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services; OR
• An advanced degree plus four years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide programs that support recruitment, development, and retention of teachers.
• Develop guidance, professional learning modules, presentations, and resources for leaders and educators.
• Provide technical assistance to school systems implementing induction, mentoring, apprenticeship, and retention programs.
• Plan and facilitate trainings, support calls, workgroups, and stakeholder meetings.
• Coordinate statewide events and recognition programs, including New Teacher Summer Kick-Off and New Teacher of the Year selection.
