Job summary

State of Louisiana, Division of Administration/OTS, is seeking an IT Security Analyst to monitor security events, investigate alerts, and coordinate incident response. You will work within the Information Security Team to triage incidents and support remediation efforts across multiple platforms.

The role emphasizes threat hunting, log correlation, and collaboration with agencies to protect state information assets. Strong IT security background and enterprise tools experience are required.

Qualifications

• Four or six years IT experience or higher education with IT work exp.
• Education substitutions allowed per state policy; certifications may substitute.
• Experience in enterprise IT security operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, investigate real-time security alerts and incidents.
• Coordinate remediation with security teams and update incident logs.
• Analyze network traffic, correlate logs, and escalate intrusions.
• Coordinate with service desk for access, MFA, and account remediation.
• Maintain SOPs and documentation for security operations.
