Qualifications

• One year as Criminal Justice System Specialist 1 or equivalent
• Two years in criminal/juvenile justice, law enforcement, or victim services with a related bachelor’s degree
• Two years in criminal/juvenile justice, law enforcement, or victim services with a related master’s degree

Responsibilities

• Sheriff Liaison: communicate with sheriffs and deputies via calls, visits, and reviews
• Contractor Evaluation: monitor training contractors and resolve issues
• Curriculum Development: assist with building training curricula and material review
• Needs Assessment: use questionnaires, interviews, and task analysis for evaluations
• Contract Management: prepare work statements, process PO documents, review invoices
• Record Systems: maintain training records and certification cards
