Qualifications

• One year as Criminal Justice System Specialist 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title) or two years of professional experience in criminal/juvenile justice, law enforcement, or victim services with a bachelor's degree; or one year plus a master's degree; or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Sheriff Liaison: communicate with sheriffs and deputies via calls, correspondence, site visits, and personnel reviews.
• Contractor Evaluation: monitor training contractors, observe instruction, resolve issues, and support quality standards.
• Curriculum Development: assist with building training curricula and review materials for accuracy and alignment.
• Needs Assessment: use questionnaires, interviews, and job task analysis methods for training evaluations.
• Contract Management: prepare work statements, process purchase orders, review invoices.
