Job summary

The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) seeks a BIM Technical Manager to lead the state's Building Information Modeling standards, deliverable review, and digital facility information strategy. The role focuses on evaluating BIM deliverables from external design and construction teams against OHIOBIMS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years in owner-side construction project management or capital program delivery.
• Minimum two (2) years overseeing BIM programs, standards, or digital deliverables.
• Experience reviewing BIM models for LOD/LOI, clash detection, and asset data checks.
• Proficiency with CDE platforms and BIM data governance.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve BEPs submitted by design/construction teams for compliance with OHIOBIMS.
• Lead QA/QC reviews at 30%, 60%, 90%, and turnover milestones and ensure data completeness.
• Coordinate across seven state agencies and provide BIM guidance to agency coordinators.
• Administer enterprise CDE configuration, access, and integration points.
• Engage with industry groups to foster statewide BIM adoption.
