Job summary

Rae Ann Suburban, Inc. is seeking skilled and loyal STNAs to join our team in Ohio. The nurse aide assists with total resident care while upholding residents’ rights and delivering high-quality care to help residents reach their optimal functioning.

Requirements include completing the CNA course and being registered in Ohio as a nursing assistant. Must read, write, and speak English; capable of visual assessment and hearing alarms.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the certified nursing assistant course and be registered in Ohio as a nursing assistant.
• Ability to visually assess residents’ condition and hear alarms; maintain patience and calm.
• Must read, write and speak English; able to work well in a team.
• Full Time Available to include every other weekend, 12-hour shifts, rotating holidays, and potential sign on bonus.

STNA BASIC FUNCTION:

The nurse aide is responsible for assisting in the total care of residents including but not limited to health care activities of daily living while adhering to the rights of the residents and providing the highest quality of care to assist the resident in reaching their optimal level of functioning.

STNA Qualifications:

• Must have completed the certified nursing assistant course and be registered in Ohio as a nursing assistant.

• Must have ability to visually assess residents’ physical condition. Must have the ability to hear with or without the use of prosthetics soft-spoken words of residents, intercom, and alarms. Must have the physical dexterity to open small packages and to perform assistance with ADL’s. Must have physical ability to lift and/or transfer residents,

• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. Must be able to remain calm and patient when a resident is anxious, agitated, combative or displaying other types of distress. Must be friendly, have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic and work cooperatively as a team member.

• Full Time Available to include every other weekend, 12-hour shifts,Rotating Holidays and potential for a SIGN ON BONUS!
