Job summary

Alpine Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Xenia, Ohio, is hiring State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) for full-time and part-time night shifts (6p-6a). You will provide routine care per care plans, support residents’ physical, emotional and social needs, and work with a compassionate team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant or State Tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state of Ohio
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents, in accordance with their individual care plans and as directed by your supervisors
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of our residents
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions and remain calm during emergency situations
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public
• Be a supportive team member, contributing to and being an example of teamwork and team concept
• Follow oral and written instructions, possess the ability to display patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
• Relate information concerning a resident's condition and complete all other tasks assigned by our facility administrator, director of nursing, nursing supervisor, or designee
