Responsibilities

As an STNA, you will care for guests under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Your responsibilities include:

• Taking and recording vital signs
• Measuring and recording height, weight, intake, and output
• Caring for the guests' environment
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Assisting with eating and hydration
• Observing guests' skin during care and reporting changes to the licensed nurse; providing skin care as needed
• Meeting guests' mental health and social service needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• STNA certification (State of Ohio)
• Or acceptable exemption required
