Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Elyria, OH is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, in alignment with our standards.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time and $2,500 for part-time, plus a $1/hour shift differential and a $1/hour attendance bonus on top of base pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
