Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our care team in Ohio. You will deliver routine daily nursing care to assigned patients under the direction of licensed staff.

The role offers a 6am-2pm shift with a $1/hour shift differential and a $1/hour attendance bonus on top of base pay. A sign-on bonus is available ($5,000 for full-time, $2,500 for part-time).

Qualifications

• Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in good standing.
• CPR certification required at hire or within orientation.
• One year geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to meet patient needs.
• Make independent clinical decisions when warranted.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the STNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
