Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team in Columbus, OH. You will perform direct daily care for residents, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting, while following all regulations and Life Care standards.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent, have completed an STNA program, and hold an active state license; CPR certification is preferred or obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

• Current State STNA license in good standing.

Responsibilities

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the STNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
