Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Elyria, OH is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will provide routine daily nursing care to patients during the 10pm-6am shift, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, under Life Care standards.

We value teamwork and excellent patient service; prior geriatric nursing experience is preferred, and CPR is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved STNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
• Deliver direct care in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support patient needs.
