Job summary

Heritage Healthcare of Painesville is seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for our long-term care facility. The STNA provides direct resident care and supports the clinical team with activities of daily living.

Shifts include 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am with alternating weekends and holidays. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork, with opportunities for ongoing training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must maintain STNA Certification required.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and non-verbally.

Responsibilities

• Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our resident’s main care giver providing necessary support for all activities of daily living.
• Ensure timely notification of residents change of status to a licensed nurse for further direction.
• Successfully assist all responsible residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), feeding, bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation, personal hygiene, and toileting.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Our long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Assistant (STNA). The Nursing Assistant (STNA) is responsible for providing direct care to residents and assisting the clinical team in providing activities of daily living.
