STNA Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Follow personalized care schedules outlined by supervisors
• Provide emotional and social support to residents
• Support dining services, including meal setup and assistance as needed
• Assist with laundry and light housekeeping as required
• Document care and daily activities per facility guidelines
• Communicate resident concerns or changes to supervisor
• Promote resident independence, dignity, and confidentiality
• Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
• Maintain a professional, respectful demeanor with residents, families, and team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

STNA Qualifications

• Active Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing care procedures and clinical terminology
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with medical staff, residents, and families
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Previous experience with senior or memory care residents is a plus
