Job summary

The Avenue at Lyndhurst, a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility, is seeking an STNA to provide direct resident care under licensed nurses. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, report changes, and support transfer and feeding needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current STNA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under licensed nurses.
• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Perform basic nursing tasks and report changes to nurses.
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and transfers.

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at The Avenue at Lyndhurst, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. Your duties will include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Providing basic nursing care, including vital sign checks and reporting changes to licensed nurses

• Assisting with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents as needed

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment

• Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
