The Avenue at Lyndhurst is seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide direct patient care under licensed nurses. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support residents in a compassionate, professional environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current STNA certification required.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign checks and reporting changes to licensed nurses.
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and restock supplies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at The Avenue at Lyndhurst, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. Your duties will include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Providing basic nursing care, including vital sign checks and reporting changes to licensed nurses

• Assisting with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents as needed

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment

• Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
