Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years experience in regulatory compliance, customer advocacy, complaint resolution, or related field.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex rules, tariffs, regulations, policies, and consumer protection requirements.
• Experience independently managing sensitive, escalated, or high-risk customer matters through resolution.
• Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and prepare reports for leadership or external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Support specialized state/commercial compliance activities and communicate impacts to leadership.
• Establish credible relationships with regulators, agencies, and stakeholders; coordinate responses.
• Analyze case data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare compliance, complaint and management reports for leadership and regulators.
• Review customer service performance against state requirements and identify gaps for coaching.
• Coordinate mediation requests, complaint responses, hearings, and testimony while balancing interests.
• Resolve elevated customer complaints escalated beyond standard channels.
• Independently manage investigations, documentation, and potential regulatory hearings.
• Provide state-specific regulatory guidance to leadership and business partners.
• Interpret and apply tariffs, regulations, and consumer protection requirements for compliant decisions.
