Edison Electric Institute (EEI) is the trade association for U.S. investor‑owned electric companies. The Manager, State Regulatory Affairs advances EEI’s state regulatory engagement by researching proceedings, sharing best practices, and building relationships with regulators and consumer advocates.

The role supports EEI members’ priorities through proactive stakeholder collaboration. This position emphasizes cross‑team coordination, policy analysis, and public outreach to influence regulatory

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in public policy, economics, environmental studies or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in public policy, energy, or related field; advanced degree may substitute for years of experience.
• Some knowledge of state utility regulation and key stakeholders is preferred; familiarity with EEI and federal policy trends is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Research relevant state regulatory proceedings to inform EEI member companies.
• Support sharing best practices across EEI members and engage with state regulators.
• Develop and maintain relationships with state regulators, consumer advocates, energy offices, and related stakeholders.
• Engage EEI member company officials and the State Regulatory Affairs team to implement strategies.
• Represent EEI at conferences for state regulatory groups and influence conference programming.
• Track trends and help develop strategies to advance EEI policy priorities.
