Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Lead Pre-K Teacher to plan, assess, and instruct for diverse preschoolers, aligning with program requirements and licensing guidelines.

You will lead classroom management, mentor fellow teachers, and foster strong relationships with families to promote child development and center success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related field.
  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
  • Ability to meet state education and childcare requirements.
  • Ability to work indoors or outdoors with children.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, assess and instruct based on each child's needs and program requirements.
  • Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring licensing guidelines.
  • Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement.
  • Mentor fellow teachers and develop engaging learning experiences.

The State Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As a Lead Pre-K Teacher, you’ll:
  • Create! Develop fun,interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
  • Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool childreninyour class.
  • Call the shots! Take the lead onclassroom managementand curriculum implementation,plusbe an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Pre‑K program requirements.
  • Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
Wewant energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related degree
  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
  • The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
