Job summary

Learning Care Group in Columbia, SC is seeking a State Pre-K Lead Teacher to guide plan, assess, and instruct based on each child's needs and program requirements.

You’ll create engaging learning experiences, mentor fellow teachers, lead classroom management, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines while building relationships with families to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related degree.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and Pre-K requirements.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement and center success.
