The State Police in Concord, NH is seeking a Trooper I to enforce laws, conduct patrols, and investigate incidents to protect public safety under RSA 106:B. The position requires passing physical, written, and background checks and the ability to serve anywhere in New Hampshire.

Qualifications include an associate degree or 60 credit hours (or a high school diploma with related experience), plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to meet medical and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Must pass physical agility test designed to measure ability to perform essential job functions (physically demanding tasks).
• Must pass a written examination and structured interviews.
• Comprehensive background investigations and polygraph examinations as part of appointment process.

Responsabilités

• Perform traffic enforcement, motor vehicle collision investigation, and patrol duties.
• Pursue suspects, make arrests, and use appropriate force when necessary.
• Engage with community members and agencies to enhance safety and law enforcement outcomes.
• Read and prepare legal documents and reports for prosecutions and court testimony.
