Job summary

The State of Indiana invites applications for a Call Center Agent position with the Indiana State Park Inns. You will provide first-class service, assist guests with reservations, and share knowledge about rooms, facilities, and promotions to enhance guest experiences.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and reliability, with duties including handling calls and emails, processing payments, and ensuring accurate guest information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to take care of guests’ needs in a professional manner.
• Strong computer proficiency and email communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to resolve customer issues. Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Should expect to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• May be required to wear an Indiana State Park Inns-provided uniform.
• May experience working in potentially inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and assist customers in making, altering, or canceling reservations.
• Respond to emails with reservation information, confirmations, and additional details.
• Advise customers regarding ongoing promotions or available upgrades that may enhance their experience.
• Answer questions regarding rooms, facilities, rates, and events.
• Accurately record customer information and charge credit cards upon successful reservations.
• Completing daily tasks as assigned.
