Responsibilities include managing multiple engagements, budgeting, coordinating workflow, and contributing to business development while maintaining strong client relationships. Requires CPA and public sector experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of experience in public accounting with a focus on the public sector.
• Holds a current and valid CPA license.
• Experience leading teams and managing multiple engagements.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GASB, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance.
• Experience auditing not-for-profit organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of audits or reviews on multiple engagements.
• Maintain client relationships and oversee engagement staff.
• Develop staff and contribute to business development.
• Monitor engagement budgets and timelines, and identify scope changes.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and firm procedures.
• Supervise and review work of seniors and staff accountants.
• Collaborate with partners and directors on client issues.
