Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager in Cybersecurity Strategy, Risk & Compliance focused on State & Local government. You will lead as Cybersecurity Lead for assigned clients, shaping strategy, risk, and delivery programs, while owning end‑to‑end engagements and client outcomes.

You will engage executive stakeholders, drive multi‑disciplinary solutions, and oversee business development efforts to grow EY’s State & Local cybersecurity offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Typically 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles spanning strategy, risk, compliance, and cyber program management.
• Experience leading large, complex cybersecurity engagements in consulting or advisory environments.
• Must have demonstrated experience supporting State and Local government clients
• Must have business development experience in working with State and local government clients
• Must be comfortable with travel and working in-person as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead Cybersecurity Lead for State & Local government clients and pursuits, as the primary executive‑level interface across EY’s cybersecurity capabilities.
• Shape integrated, end‑to‑end cybersecurity programs by orchestrating strategy, risk, compliance, architecture, engineering, and resilience.
• Own end‑to‑end execution of cybersecurity initiatives spanning strategy, governance, risk, compliance, and delivery.
• Provide executive‑level guidance connecting cybersecurity investments to operational resilience and mission objectives.
• Lead business development and pursuits for State & Local government clients, including RFP/RFI responses.
• Lead, mentor and develop high‑performing teams of consultants and subject‑matter professionals.
