Job summary

EY is seeking a Government and Public Sector Cybersecurity Strategy Senior Manager in Sacramento. You will lead state and local cybersecurity strategy, risk and compliance programs, engaging executive stakeholders and shaping multi‑year roadmaps.

The role combines advisory leadership, delivery oversight, and business development with opportunities to drive revenue growth and strengthen client impact in highly regulated public sector environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, information systems, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Typically 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles spanning strategy, risk, compliance, and program management.
• Experience leading large, complex cybersecurity engagements in consulting or advisory environments.
• Must have demonstrated experience supporting State and Local government clients and business development in this sector.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Cybersecurity Lead for State & Local government clients and pursuits.
• Lead conversations and solution shaping across cybersecurity domains (risk, compliance, data protection, identity, architecture).
• Own end‑to‑end execution of cybersecurity initiatives spanning strategy through resilience and delivery.
• Lead business development efforts across State & Local government clients.
• Originate opportunities, shape integrated solutions, and drive revenue growth.
