Tutor Time Childcare in West Haven, CT is hiring a Lead Pre-K Teacher. You will plan, assess, and implement engaging early learning experiences that meet state and program requirements while guiding a classroom of preschoolers.

As part of our team, you’ll mentor fellow teachers, promote social, physical, and cognitive growth, and ensure licensing standards are followed. We value curiosity, energy, and a commitment to families and young learners.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related field.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.

The State Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As a Lead Pre-K Teacher, you’ll:

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Pre-K program requirements.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related degree
