Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of self‑insurance, claims processing and litigation.
• Advanced communication skills, both in person and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the State Insurance Division’s activities and staff.
• Develop policy related to the State’s Insurance Program and draft statewide regulations.
• Coordinate with the Attorney General’s office and agencies on litigation matters.
• Provide oversight of loss control, claims, and contracts within the division.
