The State of Missouri, Jefferson City, is seeking a visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead OA-ITSD from the Harry S. Truman State Office Building.

You will steer statewide IT strategy, governance, cybersecurity, cloud initiatives, AI deployments, and enterprise architecture for 900+ IT professionals, balancing budgets and compliance. You will collaborate with the Governor’s Office, Cabinet, and legislature to modernize public services while mentoring senior leaders and driving

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Public Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Extensive senior IT leadership experience (10+ years) directing large-scale enterprise IT operations.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and manage multi-million dollar budgets.

• Establish and direct long-term statewide IT strategic plans aligning with state priorities.
• Oversee OA-ITSD operations to ensure secure, reliable delivery of technology services statewide.
• Advise Governor and Cabinet on technology policy, funding, and modernization.
• Identify and deploy AI, cloud services, and data integration solutions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and fiscal stewardship of IT resources.
• Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, and business continuity.
