The State of Michigan is seeking a Program Manager for the Business Enterprise Program, responsible for training and licensing blind adults in small food service businesses. This role requires strong supervisory skills and relevant experience, with the flexibility to work remotely while attending necessary meetings in Lansing.

The Business Enterprise Program trains and licenses legally blind adult consumers to be self-employed managers of small food service businesses throughout Michigan under the auspices of the federal Randolph-Sheppard Act and Michigan Public Act 260. The Program Manager provides overall supervision and administration for this statewide program, directing the work of subordinates involved in all aspects of program activities. This position reports to the Bureau of Services for Blind Persons Director of the Administrative Services Division.
The position will be remote; however, attendance at meetings and work in the Lansing office may be required based on operational needs. All work must be performed in Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.
