Job summary

State of Missouri’s Office of Administration, Division of Accounting (OA-DOA) seeks a qualified professional for the Financial Unit located in Jefferson City, MO. The role involves assisting state agencies and vendors with MissouriBUYS and SAMII Financial inquiries and processes, plus routine accounting tasks.

You will contribute to year-end activities, testing of software changes, and maintaining data accuracy, while applying knowledge of statutes and regulations to daily operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of State Statutes, Code of State Regulations, Statewide and OA Policies relating to accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of SAM II Financial and the Data Warehouse.
• Advanced knowledge of MissouriBUYS.
• Ability to create reports and spreadsheets in Microsoft Access and Excel
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the unit and with other OA divisions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting state agencies and vendors with various inquiries, procedures and processes regarding the MissouriBUYS and SAMII Financial systems.
• Process Chart of Accounts requests and Inter-Agency Check Cancellations.
• Process correction documents, agency requests and review reports.
• Contribute to the 1099 and Fiscal Year End processes.
• Assist with testing and implementation of programming changes or upgrades with MissouriBUYS and MOVERS.
