Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a Start-Up Technician I to perform start-up procedures and checks on newly installed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. You will ensure proper operation, document outcomes, and coordinate with supervisors, clients, and vendors.

Working under supervision with some discretion for field conditions, you will support project goals while following established procedures and safety requirements in the Dallas, TX area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.
• EPA Certification mandatory and must be kept current.
• 2–5 years of field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Self-managed with ability to prioritize tasks per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and functionality checks on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose system performance via testing and setup per plans.
• Ensure equipment is level and aligned.
• Maintain continuous status reports of work completed.
• Safely operate vehicle and trailer per safety requirements and maintain gear.
• Purchase materials and issue PO numbers to suppliers.
