Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a Start-Up Technician I in Colorado to perform start-up procedures and functional checks on newly installed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

You will document observations and collaborate with clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure compliance with project specs. The role requires inspecting equipment, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety and quality standards while reporting progress to supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification is mandatory and must be maintained.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Self-managed individual who can prioritize tasks and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform start-up and functionality checks on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems and equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble mechanical equipment for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose system performance through observation, testing, and setup per plans.
• Ensure equipment is level and aligned after installation.
• Maintain continuous status reports of work completed.
• Safely operate a vehicle and trailer and manage tools and safety requirements.
• Purchase materials and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
