Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong project management experience with planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution.
• Experience managing hourly manufacturing employees.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup, launch, and ongoing operations of satellite facility startup, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
• Manage all fabrication, welding, assembly, painting, sandblasting, and finishing operations.
• Establish SOPs, work instructions, and operational controls.
• Implement performance metrics and reporting to monitor effectiveness.
• Drive safety, quality, and cost objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, develop, and coach production supervisors, leads, and hourly staff.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and HR to support ramp-up and delivery.
