Job summary

Aerovy Mobility, Inc. is hiring a Business Operations Associate in the Atlanta area to own recurring operational, financial, and compliance cycles end to end. You’ll run payroll, billing, expenses, vendor records, and SOC 2/ISO 27001 evidence with the team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Business Operations, you’ll coordinate with the fractional controller and outside counsel, driving automation and process improvements while ensuring strong controls and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in business operations, accounting or payroll operations; other analytical backgrounds ok.
• Track record meeting recurring deadlines (payroll, filings, renewals) even with non-direct reports.
• Able to spot data errors, missing signatures, and failed filings.
• Experience automating recurring work, including with AI tools.
• Improve processes without compromising controls.
• Clear written communication is essential for this role.
• Based in metro Atlanta or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Close month end on time; manage payroll, billing, payables, expenses and receipts in QuickBooks Online and Ramp.
• Maintain compliance calendar and state registrations; file payroll taxes in all operated states.
• Onboard new hires and revoke access for leavers; ensure records are kept.
• Keep SOC 2 and ISO 27001 evidence audit-ready; track in Vanta and training acknowledgments.
• Manage outside partners and vendors; onboard and renew contracts with proper diligence.
• Keep contracts and policies organized; manage diligence processes and data rooms.
• Maintain operating dashboard metrics and assist in building next version.
• Diagnose issues, update SOPs, and automate where appropriate.
