No prior experience is required as in-house training is provided; high school diploma or equivalent preferred, with opportunities for advancement and a focus on health, financial security, and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Operate starter room equipment including starter, vat pasteurization, media prep and related systems.
• Manufacture starter to internal specifications and expectations.
• Monitor the complete process for quality starter and efficiency.
• Adhere to quality system requirements and QA policies.
• Report potential food safety issues to management immediately.
• Monitor all equipment and recording charts; ensure proper function.
• Perform starter activity tests as needed.
• Monitor phage results and rotate cultures as needed.
• Monitor freezer temperatures and record data.
• Complete recording charts accurately and fill out make sheets.
