Job summary

RHA Health Services is seeking a NC START East Team Leader to supervise the START program and deliver hands-on community-based intervention for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field, plus 2 years of relevant experience (1 year if Master’s degree) and National START Certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, Human Services or Special Education required; Master’s degree a plus
• Minimum 2 years experience working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities required; 1-year experience if paired with Master’s degree
• National START Certification must be completed
• Excellent communicator and cooperative team player who excels at interviewing the people we serve to learn about their interests and goals
• Must possess expertise in the services being provided
• Must have direct support experience supporting individuals with mental health and developmental disability diagnosis
• Must have experience with crisis management and crisis counseling
• Valid driver’s license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage
• Conditions of employment: CPR, first-aid, NCI certification and others that may be specified and/or required by future company regulations
• Must maintain proficiency in company-sponsored training and certifications and privileging if required.
