Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP is hiring a Structures Technician (Starship) for the 2nd shift in Hawthorne, CA. In this role, you will modify, repair, assemble, and install components for rockets and spacecraft. Candidates should have a high school diploma and ideally, at least one year of relevant experience in hardware assembly or a related field.

The position also requires you to operate various manufacturing equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure effective operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in hardware assembly, test, maintenance, or installation.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations accurately.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Modify, repair, assemble, and install rocket and spacecraft components.
• Operate manufacturing and advanced manufacturing equipment.
• Check work after completion to ensure correctness.
