Job summary

SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP seeks a Build Supervisor for the Starship 2nd Shift team in Hawthorne, California. You will lead the assembly team in building propulsion conduit subassemblies for rockets, ensuring high quality and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or significant experience in final assembly production and at least 2 years of leadership experience. Competitive compensation includes a salary range of $110,000 - $140,000 per year and various benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience in final assembly production.
• 2+ years of experience leading a team or project.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manage an hourly workforce of technicians and welders.
• Create and maintain a production schedule with daily assignments.
• Provide technical mentorship to new welders and technicians.
• Collaborate with management to optimize production line efficiency.
