SpaceX is seeking a Pipe Welder for the Starship launch site. The role focuses on welding piping, structural steel, and facility equipment, performing tasks under supervision while ensuring safety and quality.

The candidate will use TIG welding (GTAW) per ASME B31.3, read engineering drawings, and maintain licenses and certifications as required, with day or night shift options and potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1+ years TIG welding experience per ASME B31.3 normal and high‑pressure service applications.
• 1+ years of experience in a process piping environment with measurement tools to dimension piping runs.

Responsabilités

• Complete welding assignments and procedures for construction and repair of site structural stands on time, safely, and professionally.
• Cut, trim, or scarf metal objects and fabricate components to dimensions for building tests.
• Under supervision of lead welder, analyze drawings to plan welding operations where procedures are unavailable.
• Utilize hand welding and flame-cutting equipment to weld components and assemble structural forms.
• Visually inspect welds per AWS D1.1 and ASME B31.3 with proper training.
• Obtain and maintain internal licenses or certifications as required.
• Improve operations and efficiency; work cooperatively and cross-functionally.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient operations.
