Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Pipe Welder for Stage 0 Ground Fabrication (Starship) at Starbase, TX, on a night shift. You will perform precision fits and high-integrity welds on complex GSE pipe systems enabling vehicle testing and Starship flights from the Texas coast.

You will work under a lead welder to interpret drawings, comply with ASME B31.3, and obtain necessary licenses. The role demands physical stamina and readiness for overtime in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience GTAW or GMAW on stainless steel pipe.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld stainless steel piping systems.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to plan welding operations.
• Inspect per ASME B31.3 with proper training.
• Obtain and maintain internal licenses or certifications.
• Improve operations and reduce turnaround times.
• Adapt to fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
