Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer (Starship) in Brownsville, TX. You will join a fast-paced engineering team responsible for design, build, activation, and maintenance of Starship launch infrastructure, from cryogenics to high-pressure gas systems.

Responsibilities include partnering with fabrication teams, creating dashboards, and driving data-driven improvements to production and test processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics.
• 1+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, test, integration, or launch engineering.
• 1+ years of experience using Excel, SQL, or Python/R for data analysis or project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational challenges and opportunities to improve processes with ownership of improvements.
• Create and maintain software tools and dashboards (Excel, SQL, Python) to empower engineering design and scale production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to synchronize efforts across logistics, engineering, operations, production and launch groups.
• Develop tools to track key performance metrics, perform statistical analysis, and support data-driven decision making.
• Maintain rapid feedback with launch and fabrication teams to quickly adjust processes.
• Independently evaluate complex problems and arrive at practical solutions that support the program.
