SpaceX is seeking a Critical Lift & Transport Engineer (Starship) to join the Starbase, TX launch site engineering team. You will plan and execute critical lifts for rocket stages and ground support equipment, coordinating with structures, manufacturing, and operations to ensure safe, efficient transport and load-path integrity.

The role requires collaboration across disciplines, hands-on experience with heavy equipment, and utilization of CAD/FEA tools to support design reviews and regulatory

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with mechanical and structural hardware.

• Plan, analyze, and execute critical lifts and heavy-haul transports per safety standards.
• Develop lift plans, rigging designs, and transport configurations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on mass properties, rigging locations, and load paths.
• Inspect equipment and verify capacity of cranes, trailers, and rigging.
• Maintain documentation for audits and lessons learned.
