Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Build Reliability Engineer (Starship) in Westminster, CO to develop manufacturing and inspection processes from the ground up. The role emphasizes reliability through design-for-manufacturing, tooling, and data-driven improvements on production lines.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams, design testing fixtures, and drive corrective actions to reduce risk while aligning with design intent and production rate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, quality, or design engineering (internship/projects count).
• Experience with aerospace build, testing, or fabrication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end manufacturing, integration, assembly, welding, NDE, cleanliness, and checkouts processes.
• Define and document inspection requirements and procedures.
• Create training for production and inspection processes.
• Author planning, test plans, and training to execute processes and collect data.
